Meet Tori, OWNER OF SAY SOMETHING!

Say Something Teez came to life when Tori G, the founder, unexpectedly won a die-cut machine at her 9-5 job. Initially, she had no plans of starting a company. However, she saw it as a fun way to create unique projects for her family, especially her children who could showcase the best creations in their class. For months, the die-cut machine remained untouched in its box, until Tori G's enthusiasm was sparked by her children's involvement in sports. As a dedicated sports mom, she began making and wearing different shirts for every game, catching on to the contagious excitement.

The official birth of Say Something Teez happened during the 2020 election cycle, coinciding with a global pandemic. Tori G was closely following the Presidential debates and it was during the final debate between Kamalah Harris and the former Vice-President that an idea struck her. Tori G resonated deeply with Harris' powerful response of "I'm Speaking" to Pence's rude interruptions. As a black woman who has often felt marginalized and unheard, Tori felt a connection to Harris' refusal to be silenced, despite the societal fear of the "Angry Black Woman" stereotype. Tori boldly wore a Say Something Tee bearing the iconic phrase, and a simple selfie posted on social media ignited a movement that is rapidly evolving into the Tori G. empire.

Tori G hails from Edgefield, SC and now resides in Atlanta, GA with her two children, Davis and Addi Rose. Her reputation precedes her, known for her sharp wit, thought-provoking phrases, and knack for bringing humor to difficult conversations— all through the medium of a t-shirt.
